Please join us during the second round of Regional Comprehensive Plan Workshops coming to a location near you in September. The Regional Comprehensive Plan will serve as the foundation for integrating land uses, transportation systems, infrastructure needs, and public investment strategies for the San Diego region.
Thanks to the nearly 500 participants who attended the first round of workshops earlier this year, SANDAG gathered public input to refine the regional vision and core values which serve as the foundation of the Regional Comprehensive Plan.
The second round of workshops will focus on key planning concepts to be included in the Regional Comprehensive Plan, and comments will be used to fine tune the goals, policy objectives, and actions. Come share your thoughts and opinions with our region's elected officials, city managers, planning directors, community and business leaders, stakeholders, and others. This will be a dynamic and interactive set of workshops, allowing residents to provide input and ideas on key regional issues.
Public participation is crucial today to plan for a better region tomorrow, so please get involved in these interactive workshops.

Regional Vision
(developed using public input received at the first round of workshops):
"Preserve and enhance the San Diego region's unique features - its vibrant and culturally diverse communities, its beaches, deserts, mountains, lagoons, bluffs, and canyons, and its international setting - and promote sustainability, economic prosperity, and an outstanding quality of life for everyone."
