Register today for your
Guaranteed Ride Home Guaranteed Ride Home

Are you reluctant to take the bus or carpool to work because you might be stranded if you have to stay late or need to get home in a hurry? The RideLink Guaranteed Ride Home program will provide a taxi or rental car (depending on the distance between work and home) for those times when you have to work overtime or have an emergency. Eligible commuters are those who carpool, vanpool, bike, use the COASTER, or Premium Express Bus service to get to work at least three times per week. Just call 511 (say RideLink when prompted) and register or fill out an application and mail it to RideLink today.

To use the Guaranteed Ride Home program, registered participants must have one of the following situations:

  • Personal or family illness
  • Unscheduled overtime (with a supervisor's approval)
  • Stranded at work due to your carpool or vanpool driver leaving

You may utilize an emergency ride home between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, you must call RideLink between 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, to request the ride and receive an authorization code.
