TransNet Update
TransNet Keeps San Diego Moving

TransNet, the half-cent sales tax will bring in more than $3.3 billion for transportation projects in the region. In November 2004, voters will decide whether to extend TransNet to the year 2038, which would mean an additional $9.5 billion to keep San Diegans moving on our highways, transit, and local roads.

Want to learn more about this important transportation sales tax? Speakers are available to present information on TransNet to community groups, businesses and non-profit organizations. For more information, or to schedule a speaker, please call SANDAG’s Public Information Office at (619) 595-5347.
