RideLink Announces SchoolPool Winners

In November, SANDAG’s RideLink program announced the SchoolPool Back-to-School 2005 promotion winners.

This year, RideLink challenged the San Diego region’s schools to create school carpools by offering a prize package worth up to $500 to the top six schools returning the most MatchList applications. The top schools each received a field trip with a stipend for transportation, $100 worth of office supplies, a gift certificate for a free month of tutoring services, and more.  The winners were:

High Tech High Campus

  • Roosevelt Middle School
  • Cathedral Catholic High School
  • Anza Elementary
  • Guajome Park Academy
  • St. Augustine High School

RideLink’s SchoolPool program matches families that live close by and attend the same school so they can create a school carpool. The parents decide how they would like to share the responsibility of getting their kids back and forth to school. With more than 275 schools participating in the program, SchoolPool is the answer to the school commute.

A big thank you goes out to RideLink’s SchoolPool Back-to-School 2005 promotion sponsors: SeaWorld, Legoland, Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum, Birch Aquarium at Scripps, San Diego Natural History Museum, Sony Online Entertainment, Score! Education Centers, Corporate Express, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, Survivor the Game, San Diego Coaster Company, and the Fern Street Circus.
