All aboard Santa's COASTER express!
On Saturday, December 16, the COASTER will run a very special holiday-themed train featuring an appearance by Santa Claus. The North County Transit District (NCTD) is offering rides on Santa's COASTER Express free of charge, but ask that passengers bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to North County's InterFaith Community Services.
The special Santa train will begin in Oceanside at 2 p.m., and will pick-up passengers as it heads south at the Carlsbad Village, Carlsbad Poinsettia, Encinitas, and Solana Beach stations. The train will travel to Sorrento Valley, change directions, and travel northbound on its return trip to drop-off passengers.

It is recommended that passengers arrive at the stations at least ten minutes prior to pick-up times to secure parking. Please do not bring strollers or bicycles aboard Santa's COASTER Express. This special train will run rain or shine. This event is recommended for families with children between the ages of three and ten.
