We are pleased to announce SANDAG’s Third Annual Diamond Awards! The Diamond Awards celebration is our chance to recognize companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions toward reducing traffic congestion in the San Diego region.

The region’s transportation system experiences tremendous demands particularly during morning and afternoon rush hours. We applaud all of you who have made a commitment to create and promote transportation options for commuters.

Does this sound like your company? If so, take a moment and complete the Diamond Awards’ nomination form. Candidates must promote one or more of SANDAG’s programs for reducing traffic flow on the region’s roadways, including: vanpooling, carpooling, public transit, flextime, teleworking, bicycling, and/or incentives or subsidies for using one of the options.

We’ll be accepting nominations for Diamond Award candidates through February 1, 2005 at 4 p.m.
