This year SANDAG’s Binational Summer Conference will address “Cooperation across the California – Baja California Border: Where do we go from here?” The conference will be held Friday, July 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Multicultural Complex of the San Ysidro Middle School, 4345 Otay Mesa Road in San Ysidro.
The Committee on Binational Regional Opportunities (COBRO) hosts the event which brings together government officials, community members, the business sector, and academia from both sides of the United States/Mexico border. Panelists and presentations will consider the state of our regional cooperation over the last decade, evaluate what has worked and what has not, as well as learn from other regional experiences in border cooperation.
