Innovative transportation solutions will be presented at the Survive the Drive Employer Educational Seminar sponsored by SANDAG and Caltrans on Friday, March 25. The free full-day seminar will focus on the I-5/805 area and will include break-out sessions offering valuable tips and programs to help employees survive the daily commute.
Pedro Orso-Delgado, Caltrans District 11 Director, will kick-off the event with an update on the I-5/I-805 construction merge. Gary Gallegos, SANDAG Executive Director, will provide insight into “TransNet: What’s Next” during the lunch hour.
The individual session topics will include information on SANDAG’s new commuter programs including, the I-5/805 Vanpool Gas Pass project, Compass+ carsharing project, Employer Survival Kits, and Best Work Places for Commuters.
The free seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Marriott Del Mar located at 11966 El Camino Real. Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Additionally, each attendee will receive an exclusive I-5/805 Employer Survival Kit compliments of Caltrans, District 11.
